Dior Mascaras

Dior mascaras are part of a cosmetics line under the brand Christian Dior SA, better known as Dior. The founder of the brand is the French fashion designer, Christian Dior. After presenting his debut fashion collection on February 12, 1947, Christian Dior's design style became known as the "New Look", which was elegant, sophisticated and womanly. With the success of Christian Dior and his fashion brand, France regained its reputation as the fashion capital of the world. After the death of Christian Dior in 1957, Yves Saint Laurent took over as head designer for the brand. Some other head designers for the company include Marc Bohan and Gianfranco Ferre. Today, John Christian Dior directs chief designer John Galliano, who has been with the company as a designer since 1996.

Dior is part of the LVMH group, which consists of some of the world's leading luxury goods brands. Among the brands associated with the LVMH group are Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Kenzo and DKNY. Dior controls over 40% of LVMH assets, with over 160 boutiques worldwide. The headquarters of Dior is located in Paris, France. The CEO of Dior is Bernard Arnault, who is known as one of the richest men in the world. In 2006, the average workforce of Dior consisted of 59,761 employees. In 2007, the revenues of the Christian Dior Group grew by 12%, to a record high of 17,245 million Euros.

Dior mascaras are part of the perfumes and cosmetics division of Dior. There are a number of Dior mascara lines. Each line has its own set of qualities which produce different effects on the eyelashes (such as waterproof mascara, added volume, or lengthening). Dior mascaras have received good reviews from customers and critics alike. One of the most popular Australian spokesmodels for Christian Dior is Jude Law, although he does not model for Dior mascaras.
